Our Artistic Director is Mr. Gordon Moorlag. Gordon has been a singer all his life and received his Bachelor of Music from the University of Windsor in 1976. He has been the conductor of Cantus Choir since September 1981 when he took over as Artistic Director.
Membership
Cantus Choir is always looking for new male voices. If you are interested, please get in contact with us. Choir members are expected to attend all rehearsals (Sunday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:45pm), practice their music, pay for their own sheet music and rehearsal CD and to come to each performance dressed in black and white.
Welcome to Cantus Choir - Stettler, Alberta
Cantus Choir has gone through many variations of musical styles and members since is was taken over by G. Moorlag in 1981. At that time is was called the Stettler Madrigal Singers and was made up entirely of teachers from the then Stettler School Division. Today we perform a wide variety of music and have incorporated members from the community of Stettler. We all have a love of singing and are happy to sing the songs selected for us by our beloved leader.
